New Year New Challenge, this year at StarrFitness is going to have a 6 week program that contains 6 personal training sessions, 6 weeks of meals, and 6 weeks of ULIMITED CLASSES. This is where you get the jump start on your fitness goals right away with the help you deserve. Don't push it off, get started on the right foot. 

Everything is done for you, all you have to do is follow the 6 weeks of meals, sign up for the classes, and schedule your one on one sessions! Thats it. Easy.

What to expect from Personal training

Appropriate Weightlifting Training:

Weightlifting training will help burn calories fast and build lean muscle. With me as your personal trainer you can safely perform movements with weights and resistance bands for your body.

Corrective/Preventative Training:

Do you have that nagging back, shoulder, or knee injury that just wont go away? With personal training, I can help that pain go away and help keep that pain away. By doing the right corrective exercises, I'll be having you feeling better in no time! After the pain is gone, we will do preventative exercises to make sure that it wont ever come back. 

General Nutrition Guidelines:

I offer nutrition coaching and find what is best for you! If it's weight loss, muscle gain, or even just staying at a healthy weight for you. I can point you in the right direction and be there every step of the way.

About Us

Owner: Matthew Starr

I have 5 years of personal training experience and am still taking continuing education courses every year on how to better myself as a trainer. The picture on the right was me when I had shoulder surgery and then after 2 years of training right, dieting and over all taking my time with fitness. I found myself stronger and better than I was before. It didn't happen over night but I was happy on where I was going every day. 

I started StarrFitness with helping the average person in mind. I specialize in strength and conditioning with a hint of powerlifting. I've done a couple powerlifting competitions and plan on doing more. 

I have a rule for all my clients, is to give me 70-80% every day because if they tried to give me 100% everyday they would tire out and not want to train any more. If you look at it as a year, if you only trained 3 days a week but those 3 days you gave it 100%, you've only trained for 121 days. If you train for 6 days a week and give it 70-80% each day, you would have trained 242 days in a year.
